GUY'S APPLE CRISP 
CRUST:

3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter
2 tsp. cinnamon

FILLING:

8 to 10 lg. apples, peeled and cored
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix crust ingredients together. Put 1/2 of mixture on bottom of buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Slice apples onto crust until pan is full. Boil together sugar, water and cornstarch. Pour over apples. Cover with remainder of crumbs. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or until apples are soft.
