FRENCH ONION SOUP 
3 tbsp. butter
1 lg. onion
1 tbsp. flour
1 (10 oz.) can Campbells beef consomme
1/2 c. water
2 slices Italian or French bread
4 slices sodium free Swiss cheese

Saute onions in butter for 5 minutes. Add flour and beef consomme. Add water. Simmer for 20 minutes. Place in oven safe soup crocks, add one slice of bread, cover with 2 slices of cheese and either microwave until cheese is melted or broil.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
