RAISIN BREAD CUSTARD | |
2/3 c. seedless raisins 2 tbsp. butter 2 2/3 c. stale bread crumbs or cubes 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 3/4 c. hot milk Melt butter and pour over bread and fold in raisins. Beat eggs, sugar and salt. Gradually add hot milk. Pour over bread and let stand for 15 minutes. Sit pan in hot water in oven. Bake 45 minutes to an hour at 350 degrees. |
