SNICKER DOODLES 
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix Crisco, sugar, and eggs. Sift together flour and dry ingredients. Add to Crisco, sugar, and eggs. Chill dough in waxed paper. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
