GRANNY'S JAPANESE FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. sweet milk
4 eggs
2 c. raisins, chopped
1 c. English walnuts
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves

Bake at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

1 coconut
1 orange
1 lemon, grated or ground
2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water

Cook until thick. Spread on cake.
