I received this recipe from a friend many years ago. A family and friends favorite. I am baking loaves now and was curious to see if recipe was online.

My Mom was an avid antique collector! We made many visits to the Crane House in Montclaire. We actually had some of their pumpkin bread in their great kitchen. Bought the cook book, making pumpkin bread and Crane House Turkey and stuffing for over 30 years now.

Woww!!! My best friend's mom was also an Avid Antique collector and I fondly remember going with her and her family to the Crane House in Montclair! I also remember baking this Pumpkin bread with her at her house every year from when we were kids!! We also used this beautiful beat up Crane recipe book to make cookies as well!! Every recipe in that book is absolutely amazing!! The book had pages coming out of it because of how much her and her mom used that book for their delicious desserts breads, and meals!! I Cannot wait to have this pumpkin bread! I'm making it for Thanksgiving!! :)
