GOOSEBERRY CRUNCH 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter

Melt butter; pour over dry ingredients.

GOOSEBERRIES:

4 c. fresh or frozen gooseberries

SYRUP:

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix and boil until clear (thick); add vanilla after boiling.

Pour 1/2 crumb mix in bottom of baking dish; add gooseberries. Add rest of crumbs on top. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
