OPEN FACE HAMBURGERS
1/2 slice white bread
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
4 slices white bread

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Tear 1/2 slice bread into tiny pieces and place in bowl. Stir in the ground beef, 1/4 cup milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon onion powder with fork. Toast 4 slices bread and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Spread each slice of toast with about 1/4 of the ground beef mixture. Cover the edges of the toast completely to prevent them from burning - no crusts should show. Bake in 400 degree oven about 15 minutes. Yields 4 hamburgers.
