HAWAIIAN COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. nuts

Sift flour and dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and pineapple, alternating with flour. Add nuts and vanilla. Bake on a slightly greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. About 3 dozen.
