TOMATO SKILLET 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 whole tomatoes, peeled and cored

Melt butter in skillet. Add onion, parsley, salt, thyme and pepper. Add tomatoes, cored side down. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Turn tomatoes carefully, basting with butter mixture. Cover and continue cooking 5 minutes. Serve in sauce dishes with sauce spooned over.
