2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Combine. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

FROSTING:

2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Food coloring

I tint the frosting with a color that is appropriate for the occasion I will be serving the cookies.
