1 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. bacon drippings

Add enough milk to make a batter. Add 1 cup cracklins. Pour in hot greased iron skillet and bake in a hot oven, about 350 degrees.
