FROSTING FOR BLACK MAGIC CAKE 
1 c. milk
1/4 c. flour, stir in slowly
Dash of salt, cook until very thick, cool until cold
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening

Beat 10 minutes or until very creamy. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla to cooked milk, then mix with other mixture and beat until very fluffy.
