1 1/4 c. self rise flour
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello brand vanilla flavor instant pudding & pie filling
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. raisins (optional)

Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour; then stir in oats and raisins (batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets about 2" apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
