NEVER FAIL BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1 1/4 c. warm water
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour

Mix yeast and water; set aside. Mix next 4 ingredients, then add yeast mixture and whip with a spoon. Mix and cover until it has doubled (1 1/2 hours). Beat down and put in greased loaf pan. Don't cover. Let rise until it comes to top of pan, about 30 minutes.

Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
