WHITE BREAD 
Yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. sugar

Combine and let stand 45 minutes.

1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. melted lard
2 c./ warm water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
8 c. flour approximately

Add and mix. Let rise 2 times in bowl - punch down. One time in pans before baking.

Start in a cold oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Makes 3 loaves.

I also use this dough to make cinnamon rolls. Divide in half. Roll out rectangle. Spread butter, cinnamon and sugar. Roll up. Cut 1 inch pieces. Put in pans and let rise.
