CORN COB JELLY 
12 cobs (red field corn)
4 c. sugar
Water
1 pkg. pectin

Place cobs in pan and cover with water. Boil 20 minutes. Drain through jelly bag. Measure 3 cups liquid in a large pan. Stir in pectin. Bring to a boil and add sugar. Boil again until sugar is melted. Boil again until sugar is melted. Boil 1 minute longer. Remove from heat. Skim and jar. Seal 10 minutes in hot water bath. 5 medium glasses.
