GREEN BEANS - SOUR CREAM
(ZOLDBAB FOZELEK)
 
1 1/2 lb. green beans, fresh
3 tbsp. bacon grease
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. cornstarch or flour
1 tbsp. milk
1 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash, string and cut beans. Heat bacon grease and add onion and cook until onion is soft, add paprika. Mix in well. Add bean with just enough water to hardly cover them. Add salt to taste and cook until the beans are tender but still crisp. Dissolve flour in milk. Add to sour cream mixing in well add to beans and continue to simmer until hot.
