SOUR CREAM DEVILS FOOD CAKE 
4 eggs, well beaten
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Add sugar to eggs; mix well. Add the sour cream and beat. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add to first mixture, mixing thoroughly. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees until cake pulls slightly from pan, about 30-35 minutes. (For a less red cake use only 1 teaspoon baking soda.)
