CHOCOLATE TOFFEE CRESCENT BARS | |
8 oz. can Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls 2/3 c. butter 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.) Heat oven to 375 degrees. Unroll dough into 2 long rectangles; place in ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan. Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides to form crust. Firmly press perforations to seal. In small saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar. Bring to full boil, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 14-17 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven; sprinkle with chocolate chips. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Yields 36 bars. |
