1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. dark brown sugar
1/2 tbsp. Karo syrup
1 1/2 lbs. oatmeal
1 1/2 lbs. crunchy peanut butter
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2 c. white sugar
1/8 c. vanilla
6 eggs, beaten
4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 lb. M&M'S® for decorating

Cream butter, add sugars. Add vanilla, Karo syrup, eggs and peanut butter. Mix well. Put in large bowl and add soda to oatmeal. Add to first mixture. Mix by hand thoroughly.

Drop by tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Put several M&M'S® on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Let set two minutes before removing to cooling rack or paper towels. This dough can be frozen or freeze after baking. Makes about 200 cookies.
