SAUSAGE BEAN PASTA SOUP 
1 tbsp. olive or other vegetable oil
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage, remove casing
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 garlic clove or more to suit your taste
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
3/4 c. elbow macaroni, sm. shells or rotini
5 c. boiling water
1 (13 3/4 oz.) can beef broth
1 can whole tomatoes, crushed (about 28 oz.)
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato soup
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2-3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 oz. sliced salami, cut into strips
