BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. bacon
1/2 lb. American cheese
2 cans chicken broth
1 lg. can mushrooms
1 lg. bunch broccoli
1 med. onion
2 1/2 tbsp. flour

Fry bacon (set aside after crumbling up). Saute onion and mushroom in small amount of butter. Add flour, making a roux. Add chicken broth. Broil broccoli (until tender).

Place a layer of broccoli in casserole dish, bacon, layer. Broth over broccoli and bacon letting your top end up with cheese. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is a golden color. Serves 4-5.
