About 1 1/2 hours before serving or early in the day; in a large bowl mix: 1 c. mayonnaise 2 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Add: 1 med. head of cabbage, shredded (8 c. lightly packed) 1 lg. carrot, shredded Toss gently until well coated. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour to blend flavors. Makes 8 servings. |
