PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 c. juice from pineapple
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
4 tbsp. light corn syrup
2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or shortening
1 1/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. milk

Take first 4 ingredients, put in saucepan. Let boil until it starts to thicken. Mix all other ingredients together. Put pineapple slices in bottom of pan and put a can of crushed pineapple all around the slices. Pour batter on top and bake. Bake until away from sides or test with knife. When done take and let set about 10 minutes and then turn upside down on plate.
