STREUSEL TOPPED APPLE BUTTER
CAKE
 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 cup apple butter
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously grease bottom of 9-inch square pan or tube pan.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add remaining ingredients.

In saucepan, melt butter. Combine remaining ingredients with melted butter; mix well. Pour into greased pan.

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Combine in bowl and sprinkle over batter.

Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes.
