1 lg. can evaporated milk
2 c. sugar
3 sq. bitter chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix milk, chocolate, sugar in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook 5 minutes while stirring vigorously. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Beat 1 minute (with rotary beater). Serve warm over ice cream or may serve cold.
