MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
3 c. meal
2 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. salt
1 med. onion
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. jalapenos
1/4 lb. bacon, crisp & crumbled
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. sugar
1 can creamed corn
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 c. oil

Mix all ingredients and bake at 400 degrees until done.
