PORK AND KRAUT GOULASH 
2 lb. pork, cut in bite size pieces
2 lb. sauerkraut
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sour cream

Brown meat in shortening. Remove from pan and lightly brown onions, and garlic. Add paprika, cooking over low heat for 1 minute. Return meat to pan, stirring to coat with paprika. Add kraut and tomatoes, mix lightly and cook over low heat, in low oven at 300 degrees, or in crockpot for at least 3 hours.

If there is too much liquid remove lid during last part of cooking. Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
