MEAT VEGETABLE PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
Dash of cayenne pepper
1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 c. shredded American cheese

Combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, salt, chili powder and cayenne. Press into 9 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Top with thawed mixed vegetables. Add remainder of the tomato sauce and continue baking for 30 minutes longer. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top and heat until cheese melts. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
