MEXICAN CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. ground beef (fry with one onion) 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 (10 oz.) mushroom soup 1 pkg. corn tortillas (12) 1/2 c. green chilies Brown beef, add chili powder, tomato sauce, mushroom and chicken soup. Grease bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Put 6 of the tortillas on the bottom, then put half the beef mixture and half of the cheese, next a layer of remaining tortillas and then the remainder of beef mixture and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until the cheese melts and gets bubbly. |
