SNICKER BAR CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 pkg. caramels (14 oz.) 1 stick of butter 1/3 c. milk 3/4 c. chocolate chips (1 small bag) 1 c. pecans Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan; bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, melt caramels, butter, and milk together. Remove cake from oven; pour mixture over cake. Top with chocolate chips and pecans. Dot remaining batter over the top and return cake to 250 degree oven for 20 minutes; increase heat to 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting. |
