BUTTER RICH SPRITZ 
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and confectioners sugar. blend in egg yolks, almond and vanilla extracts. Gradually add sifted flour and salt; mix thoroughly.

Press a small amount of dough through a cookie press onto ungreased baking sheets, using any plate to make the desired shape. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.

For special Christmas cookies, add a few drops of food coloring to dough to make bells, wreaths, or trees. Sprinkle with colored sugar or candies and bake.
