BROWN BREAD 
2 c. water, milk, sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
1 c. corn meal
1 c. All-Bran (cereal)
1 c. flour

Sift together flour and corn meal. Combine all ingredients. Place in a greased 3 pound Crisco can (for the mold). Cover with aluminum foil and secure with a tight elastic band. Steam for 3 hours.
