PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and peanut butter; gradually add sugar. Beat in eggs and chocolate. Hand stir in vanilla and sifted dry ingredients. Bake in greased 8 inch square pan at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cut into bars or squares.
