BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. all purpose flour
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. black walnut flavoring
1 to 1 1/2 c. black walnuts (chopped)
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and shortening together and add eggs and milk. Add sugar, baking powder, flour, flavoring and black walnuts, mixing well. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 325 degrees 1 1/2 hours.
