MICROWAVED LOBSTER 
1 1/4 lbs. live lobster

Place live lobster in large microwavable plastic bag; knot or close loosely.

Microwave on high approximately 5 minutes in a large 600 to 700 watt oven (or about 8 minutes in a smaller oven with less wattage.)

To make sure lobster is done, separate the tail from the rest of the body. If the tomalley, the mushy stuff in the cavity, has turned green it has been cooked through. If it's still black and oily looking heat lobster for another 60 seconds, and check again. Continue until done.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
