RUBY NIX'S CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
8 chicken breasts 1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 2/3 soup can of water 1 stick butter 1 env. Lipton onion soup Melt butter in large sauce pan. Mix chicken, mushroom soup and water into butter. Heat until blended well. Spread rice on bottom of 13 x 19 inch casserole. Sprinkle onion soup on rice. Pour a little more than half of soup and butter mixture into casserole. Mix rice and soup. Lay chicken on top of rice. Pour rest of soup mixture over chicken. Bake in a covered casserole at 275 degrees for 3 hours. |
