PEPPERMINT PATTIES 
2 c. Ever Fresh powdered sugar (not sifted)
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

Place all ingredients in a bowl; mix with fork, then by hand. If too stiff, add a few more drops of milk. Knead until smooth. Roll into small balls and flatten with bottom of glass to about 1/4 inch thick. Chill. Dip in melted chocolate.

CHOCOLATE COATING:

Melt 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate bits over hot water. Cool. Dip chilled patties in chocolate and place in waxed paper lined pan. Chill to set chocolate.
