PEACH DESSERT | |
1/2 c. butter 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding 2 c. white cake mix (use a Jiffy cake mix & add enough flour to make 2 c.) 1 egg 2 c. milk 1 tbsp. almond extract 1 can (1 lb. 13 oz.) peaches WITH juice Put butter in a 9 x 13 inch pan and place in a 350 degree oven until melted. Then, blend pudding and cake mix in bowl. Add egg, milk and almond extract. Beat until smooth. Stir in peaches with juice. Remove pan from oven and pour in mix. Butter will rise around edges. Spread over top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Can also be served with whipped cream. |
