TAKE TO MEETING PECAN CAKE 
1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. chopped pecans

Prepare cake mix as directed and add the above 3 extra ingredients. Bake as directed on package. Then prepare topping as below:

Caramel Nut Frosting

Combine 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar, 1 cup chopped pecans or hickory nuts and 1 cup sour cream in large, heavy saucepan. Cook over direct heat until a little syrup dropped in cold water forms a very soft ball (230 degrees F.). Spread immediately over cooled cake.
