FISH CHOWDER | |
1/4 lb. butter 1 med.onion, chopped 1 can evaporated milk Salt and pepper to taste 2 c. cubed potatoes, cooked 1 1/2 lbs. fish (haddock, cod) 2 c. milk Melt butter, saute onions, add fish, cover, cook for 15 minutes or until fish is easily flaked. Flake fish, add potatoes, milk and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil, then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. |
