EGG BREAD 
6 3/4 to 7 1/4 c. all purpose or bread flour
2 pkgs. yeast
2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2 c. raisins, optional

Combine 3 cups flour and yeast. Heat milk, sugar, butter and salt until warm. Add to flour. Add eggs. Beat low speed 1/2 minute and then high speed for 3 minutes. Stir in as much flour as you can with a spoon. Knead 8 minutes. Put in lightly greased bowl. Turn once. Cover and let rise 1 1/4 hours. Punch down. Divide in half. Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Roll out, brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll jelly roll style. Pinch ends together. Place in greased pans. Cover and let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool. Drizzle with 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and about 1 1/2 tablespoons milk.
