OVERNIGHT BUNS | |
1/4 c. lukewarm water 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 tbsp. sugar 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. oil 1 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. warm water 7 c. flour Soak yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Add sugar, oil, salt, and warm water to yeast water. Gradually add flour. Start at 6:00 p.m. Let stand 3 hours, work down. Then let stand 1 1/2 hours. Shape into buns, place on greased sheet for 8 hours or overnight. I let rise about 6 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. |
