YUGOSLAVIAN CHEESE BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. biscuit mix 1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack, grated 1/2 lb. cheddar, grated 1/4 c. chopped onion 5 eggs 1 c. buttermilk 1 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed & drained 1/2 c. ricotta or cottage cheese 1/4 c. cornmeal In a large bowl combine biscuit mix, cheese, onion, eggs, butter, buttermilk, spinach, ricotta and cornmeal. Mix well. Spread in greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Test for doneness. Cool slightly. Cut into squares. |
