MACARONI BEEF STEW | |
1/2 bag/box of Elbow Macaroni 1 lb. LEAN Ground Beef 1 large tomato 4 large carrots (finely sliced) 3 celery sticks (finely sliced) 1/2 small onion 2/3 bottle of, 64 oz. tomato juice First, prepare macaroni according to manufacturer's directions. Second, brown beef. (NO NOT DRAIN) Add Onion to beef mixture. Cook 5 minutes. Add Carrots, and celery, cook 5 minutes more. Add macaroni, after drained, to beef mixture in large pot. Add tomato Juice to mixture, filling until juice appears. Cook for 30 minutes, medium-low, simmering in pan. Add tomato. Continue to cook 15 minutes more, on medium-low. simmering, until vegetables are tender. Makes 6-8 servings. Submitted by: Jackie Wallenberg |
