COOKING FRESH KALE 
Kale
Salt
Sugar
Smoked Hog Jowl

In a large pot on the top of your stove, boil kale until the leaves have wilted down. About 5 minutes. Discard water and place kale and all other ingredients in a Presto pressure cooker. Cook on 10 pounds of pressure for 45 minutes.

After cooling, remove from cooker. It will be very tender. Kale may be eaten as is or used as an ingredient in any other dish. Kale is extremely tough. I once cooked kale on the top of the stove, and after cooking for 3 hours it was still to tough to eat.
