CHILI SAUCE 
8 qt. ripe tomatoes
3 c. chopped onions
2 1/2 c. chopped bell peppers
1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 qt. distilled vinegar
3 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. brown sugar

Spices may be altered to suit taste. Skin tomatoes and chop, add all other ingredients, bring to a boil and boil about 4 hours or until it is thick enough to bubble with only a small amount of liquid on top. Put in jars and seal.
