1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. water

Heat oven to 475 degrees. In large bowl combine 1 cup flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon shortening. Mix at low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Add 2 tablespoons water continue mixing until all flour is moistened and dough begins to gather into beaters, about 10 seconds. Scrape bowl constantly, gather dough together, press firmly into a ball (1 to 2 teaspoons water may be added). Flatten into a round and roll 2" larger than inverted 8" pie pan.
