KEY LIME PIE | |
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST: 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine crumbs, sugar and butter until well blended and crumbly. Press into 9 inch pie pan. Bake crust 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. PIE FILLING: 5 egg yolks 1 c. sweetened, condensed milk 1/2 c. lime juice 1 tsp. grated lime rind Whipped cream Lime pieces for garnish Adjust oven to 350 degrees. Beat yolks until light and fluffy, gradually add milk, lime juice and rind. Pour into cooled crust. Bake 15 minutes. Let pie cool. Spread on whipped cream and garnish. |
